The government's scheduled Treasury bills auction next week was rescheduled from August 20, 2012 to August 22, 2012. The treasury bureau explained that auction was moved due to Presidential Proclamation No. 455, declaring Monday as a regular holiday throughout the country in observance of Eid'l Fitr or Feast of Ramadhan. The government will still borrow P7.5 billion in short-term notes. (CSL)
